Half Day VPD Preschool 2024-2025

HALF DAY: 9 AM-12 PM OR 1-4 PM / 2, 3, OR 5 DAY OPTIONS
Our DCFS licensed preschool program o ers a balance of social and academic experiences for your little learner. Your child is inspired daily by dedicated teachers who provide a nurturing environment. Each child will have the opportunity to meet new friends, build self-con dence, naturally explore, develop strong self-esteem and learn to cooperate with others. Our goal is that every child leaves having a positive learning experience here at Veterans Park District Preschool.
The preschool program follows the Creative Curriculum, endorsed by the National Association of Education of Young Learners. Teachers also follow the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards, which are aligned with the Illinois Kindergarten Stan- dards and Common Core State Standards to promote readiness for Kindergarten.
We accept Action for Children, a state funded program which provides tuition assistance for families who qualify (www.actforchildren.org).
REQUIREMENTS
Parents must complete a registration packet before a child is allowed to register. Packets are available at our Bulger Park, Grant Park, and George A. Leoni Complex facilities. You may also down- load our parent packet at vpdpark.org.
The following checklist is due at registration: • Completed Registration Packet
• Child’s Birth Certi cate
• Current Physical and Medical Requirements
(found in registration packet)
• A picture ID AND utility bill with name and current address
• Child must be 3 years old by September 1st and potty trained • Non-refundable $100 registration fee is required

2024/2025 SCHOOL YEAR PRICING
Please Note: Tuition is based on a full nine-month program, broken into easy monthly payments.
Classes will run based on minimum requirement.
All children are provided with a snack, included in tuition.
Tuition due on the 19th of each month, one month in advance.
