On this Veterans Day think of how grateful we should be for all the Veterans who have sacrificed their lives by fighting for our freedom. For the past eleven years, Veterans Park District has observed Veterans Day with a ceremony attended by community members, friends, employees, local schools, churches, and war heroes. Everyone is invited to observe and remember our soldiers during this moving ceremony.

This is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. Breakfast With Santa has become a family tradition. Families will enjoy a hot breakfast with many tasty treats. Each family will receive a gingerbread house to decorate. A candy table will be provided, loaded with candies to create a special family decoration. Santa will have a gift for each child. Bring your camera! You'll want to capture the memories of that special visit with Santa.

($15 extra fee for each additional house.)Preregistration is necessary to guarantee a gingerbread house for each family.
