Bring the whole family for a day of fun! Rain or shine!

Sold at the event: $12 wristband for unlimited use or $1 per ticket per attraction

Concession Stand: Grilled burgers & hot dogs will be sold.

Free Family Event for Grades K-6. Wear Your Costume!

Children receive a hot dog & juice (limited quantities). Hot dogs and snacks available for purchase at the concession stand.

Veterans Day Observance


Friday, November 8 • Bulger Park, Melrose Park | Ceremony starts at 10 AM

On this Veterans Day think of how grateful we should be for all the Veterans who have sacrificed their lives by fighting for our freedom. For the past thirteen years, Veterans Park District has observed Veterans Day with a ceremony attended by community members, friends, employees, local schools, churches, and war heroes. Everyone is invited to observe and remember our soldiers during this moving ceremony.

Summer Kickoff

This is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. Breakfast With Santa has become a family tradition. Families will enjoy a hot breakfast with many tasty treats. Each family will receive a gingerbread house to decorate. A candy table will be provided, loaded with candies to create a special family decoration. Santa will have a gift for each child. Bring your camera! You'll want to capture the memories of that special visit with Santa.

• Visit with Santa
• Hot Breakfast
• Gingerbread House (one per family)
• Gift from Santa for Each Child
• Hot Cocoa Table
• Special Holiday Mug for Children
($15 extra fee for each additional house)

Preregistration is necessary to guarantee a gingerbread house for each family.

Ages: 3-10: Residents $11 / Nonresidents: $15
Ages: 11- Adult: Residents $16 / Nonresidents: $20
Children under 3 are admitted free, but still need to be registered for the gift count.

Holiday Food Drive

Help provide food for the hungry. We are looking for individuals and/or corporations to help aid us in our mission to fight hunger in our surrounding communities during the holiday season. Please bring nutritious, non-perishable canned or packaged foods (no glass please) to any of the locations listed below.

• George A. Leoni Complex, Melrose Park

A special thank you to all the families that dropped off toys for last year's drive. Please make the holidays happier and help preserve the spirit of giving. Drop off a NEW toy or game at any of the locations listed below and make a difference in someone's life this holiday season.
