Got Clay?
We will be taking a trip every other week to do some pottery at Paint N Party in Niles. We will be creating some small bisque  gures and plaster items for either yourself, your family, or your friends.
Special Olympics Bocce Training
Population: DD, AUT, MI
This program is for the athletes that want compete in Special Olympics Bocce. If you are a seasoned player or want to learn to play, please join the fun and register with the Veterans Park District Bocce Team. Dress for the weather, we practice outdoors. Bring bug repellent and wear comfortable clothes. You MUST have a current medical application on  le with Illinois Special Olympics Illinois Region C, before you can play.

This is a training program for Special Olympics Floor Hockey Skills. Athletes are responsible to attend practices, games and competition in November. You MUST have a current medical application on  le with Illinois Special Olympics Illinois Region C.

In order to compete, you are required to practice no less than 5 weeks and be there on testing dates. You will not be able to play with a part- ner if you miss 2 or more practices.
Testing Dates: Tuesday, Jul 30 & Aug 6. You must be present on test- ing dates in order to compete in September.
Busing: $12 available for in-district residents only, on a  rst-come basis. Pick up between 5 & 6 PM.
District Quali er: Saturday, Sep 20 at Grant Recreation Center in Northlake.
There is NO bus service available for the District Quali er, meet at Grant Park at 8:30 a.m.
Uni ed Bocce is one Special Olympics Athlete and one non-disabled athlete playing together as a team. If you’re interested in being a Uni-  ed Partner, please contact Kathy at (708) 716-4822. We currently have two Uni ed teams and would like to increase our Uni ed Partners.
