Special Recreation
The purpose of our Special Recreation programs is to satisfy the leisure and social needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. Our programs focus on promoting socialization, community integration, independence, and providing life-enriching experiences.

Halloween Crafts
Goblins and ghosts are the theme for the night as we enjoy making craft projects, while listening to festive music to celebrate Hallow- een. A small snack will be provided. Family members are welcome.

Thankful Thanksgiving Crafts

Expectations: Attendees are expected to engage in recreation activi- ties, practice appropriate behavior skills with staff and peers, and be able to maintain independently at a 4:1 staff ratio.
Busing: $12 Available to in district residents only
Dates and meeting times may be changed due to weather conditions or activity scheduling. Participants will receive a detailed schedule prior to start of program. Bus pick up time will be listed according to the event.

Special Recreation Archery
Our instructor, Andy Ferraro, is licensed by the National Field Archery Association and has been working with individuals with spe- cial needs for over a decade. He has a master level certi cation and trains archery teachers how to teach. So come give this fun- lled sport a try! Watch your hand-eye coordination improve over time in this class. Archery supplies will be provided for everyone.

Saturday Escape
Escape into the wonderful world of adventure as we explore our favorite attractions around our communities. Each week is  lled with fun as we visit a new place, so buckle up and get ready for take-off!
Special Recreation programs are available to all individuals with special needs within age range.
